History
The idea of an independent business path developed along with our country. I founded Elservis in June 1991, at the time of the collapse of Yugoslavia and we found ourselves in economic stagnation. The beginnings, under the given conditions, were not easy. Several years of experience gained in the servicing and maintenance at the Iskra company, and in particular, a lot of willpower and perseverance brought our first regular customers and with that, the possibility of overcoming the crisis.
From the initial, relatively modest craft workshops alongside the European market and private initiatives, a creative and flexible Slovenian economy developed. The field of plastics and metal industry in which I offer the majority of services are greatly strengthened and are becoming relatively export-oriented. The increase of work and challenges have confirmed the direction of industrial electrical service for machinery.
The services have adapted to the emerging private companies, demanding customers who require a quick response and an individual approach. At that time, I was still also contractually active in large state-owned companies, which were reducing their own maintenance: Iskra, Elma, Totra, Peko, etc. However, it already began to show that an economy without a private owner has a difficulty functioning. A dependence on large companies is a dangerous thing, especially when it comes to state-owned companies. Therefore, it seemed that a shift towards private enterprises and craft workshops was a logical direction. After two decades, it was time for an updated logo with a symbol of automatic operation, which better illustrates our activity and is more connected to the future (see below – the old company logo 1991–2013).
